I’ve been heads-down on Cushion for a few days, trying to get the new onboarding into a launch-ready state. This has actually been my longest recent gap without writing, and it’s made me realize how much I need writing as part of my process. As mentioned in previous posts, writing slows me down in a good way. I think more about my decisions and hurdles rather than plowing ahead at full-speed. This time is no different. I’ve been so determined to wrap up the onboarding in time for the monthly newsletter that I forgot my favorite part of building Cushion—writing about it. Regardless of how many cool features I build or how many users Cushion has, at the end of the day, I’m most proud to have captured my thoughts along the way and documented the process to get there.
