Stefan Sagmeister – designer heartthrob – at MICA
Jen graduated from MICA yesterday. Of course, it was a very special day, but even more so because she met the inspiration for her thesis—Stefan Sagmeister. He spoke at commencement (video below) and met with a small group of students. I’m certain I’ll find fancy hand-lettering all over her sketchbooks saying, ‘Jen Sagmeister’… which is actually what she titled this photo on Facebook.
I watched the first minutes of the Sagmeister video and recognized that he always tells the same story about this woman he met in a train. Interesting enough because the likelihood that somebody has seen his speech beforehand is very high.
