The Making of a Macworld cover: start to finish

This video looks like it’s making the rounds this week—it’s a time-lapse, by Peter Belanger, of what goes into a Macworld cover, including the photography, photoshopping, and design. I always love to see how professionals photograph, especially in the studio setting, so this was certainly a treat for me.

  1. Love the Macworld magazine!

Anyone remeber MacAddict? Another favorite of mine!

Which was rolled into a new mag called MacLife which imho is no where near as good as the original MacAddict was back in the day.

Thanks for the video I always love behind the scenes/making of videos! Especially ones that show my dream job.

  2. Wow that was such a well made video! It’s also neat to see how nitpicky they are about things like dust and reflections.

  3. I really admire professional photography – It’s amazing how involved they get with lighting. Microphone placement in the audio world is equally precise. I’m hoping to put together some really cool time lapse videos this semester. First on the list is repainting our basketball net!
