DestroyTwitter in-app photo viewing within the main window or in its own?
I’ve decided to rethink things a bit in DestroyTwitter, so I’ll be conducting a survey over the next few weeks. Today’s question is whether in-app photo viewing is working within the main window or should it be its own window? There are benefits to both, but what do you think?
Ah! I meant to vote for within the main window.
Hi. I really love DestroTwitter. But… I don’t understand the question!
Explain to me pls!
I think its working fine, the only problem is the image is sometimes to small to see the subject. So i think it would be better in its own window, but still have a option for users to choose.
Make it like twitterrific iphone app
I have no problem with them within the main window, although it would be nice if the pics could be seen as thumbnails within the timeline automatically.
If I have to choose, I’d go for in a separate window, but I prefer the option to just open them in the browser.
In its own window, but tinypic size perhaps?
I like how it currently works. Yes the image is small but I treat it like a preview. If I want to see the larger size I just click the image again to go to the web page. one of the things that Destroy Twitter has been good at is giving users the choice. So if it’s not much work maybe this could be another preference setting?
I agree. Having the option of TwitPic thumbnails loading within the timeline would be nice.
Automatic thumbails would have to be a preference. Can’t go retrieving photos that could possibly be not suitable for work.
I like the photos appearing in place in the window; I dislike popups immensely.
I’d love to see a carousel option, ie when you’ve got an image up, show a thumbnail of the next and previous images from your timeline.
I *love* how it does it now. It’s perfect.
I love how the images open right there, and with simple escape disappear again.
Def agree that I like the option of a thumbnail in the timeline. I do like the preview as is when you click on the link, but I think I’d like the option above preview to open in browser or open in new window (because I’d be more inclinde to choose the latter, especially if my browser was not currently running).
The feature I would like to see is when clicking on a picture to open it in the browser, the picture automatically closes in DT. I usually open pictures in my browser, and this will save me from then having to manually close it in DT.
I have to echo Mark’s idea: Clicking the picture should open it in the browser then close it in DT(w). Anything that saves you clicks is a win for me.
I’d like it to open in it’s own windows because sometimes the image is too small and I then have to click again and wait longer to see the image
