Frankenpod!

Sorry about the title, but I just couldn’t resist. My 4th generation iPod has been revived! It’s been sitting in a drawer for the past year, but for some reason, I thought I’d see what I could do. I just want to preface by saying this iPod is actually the fifth one I’ve had after sending it into Apple under warranty. Right before the last time it died, the warranty ran out. Anyways, I googled “how to take apart an iPod,” which led me to this blog. Within seconds, I had my iPod open. I followed the instructions by pulling out the battery cable on the bottom corner and disconnecting the hard drive. After a solid minute, I plugged them back in and my beloved JPod is back. Now, if I could only revive my Baby JPod (iPod Shuffle).
